Trust through traceability

Editorial method, AI assistance, and corrections.

Inquory does not ask readers to trust an invented newsroom. Authority must come from primary evidence, transparent methods, useful analysis, documented limitations, and a visible correction practice.

How artificial intelligence may assist

Inquory may use AI systems for topic discovery, research organization, source discovery, structured extraction, draft preparation, comparisons, claim identification, citation checking, SEO analysis, content maintenance, structured data, and quality-control assistance. AI output does not independently establish factual truth.

Important factual claims must remain traceable to attributable evidence. Substantive analytical work retains an internal research brief, source list, evidence map, draft history, fact-check result, editorial-review result, material revisions, and publication approval. Model or prompt versions are retained when they materially affect reproducibility.

Authorship and review

Inquory Research or Inquory Intelligence is the default organizational byline for AI-assisted analytical content. Inquory does not create fictional journalists, experts, testers, biographies, credentials, or review panels.

A person is named as author, editor, or reviewer only when that person actually performed the stated role. Substantive editorial review and approval to publish are separate audit events. Owner approval alone is not represented as expert review.

Testing and evidence labels

Every product-related asset must distinguish among these evidence modes:

  • Documentation review: analysis of official documents without operating the product.
  • Hands-on testing: documented operation of the product under a defined plan and version.
  • Synthetic benchmark testing: repeatable fictional scenarios using no real customer data.
  • Real-world testing: observed live use, which requires separate privacy, data, and owner authorization.
  • Third-party evidence or vendor claim: attributed evidence that is not an Inquory finding.

The phrase "Tested by Inquory" is prohibited unless an actual, retained test record passed the product-test protocol. Vendor marketing does not become an Inquory conclusion through paraphrase.

Corrections and material revisions

When a material factual error is identified, Inquory preserves the previous revision internally, records why the claim changed, reruns affected fact checks, checks dependent content, and displays a correction note when the reader's interpretation could materially change. Material historical claims are not silently rewritten.

Minor grammar, formatting, accessibility, or typographical repairs may be made without a prominent correction note. The monitored corrections channel records factual concerns for the public release.

Commercial independence

Affiliate relationships, sponsorships, free access, vendor credits, paid placements, and commercial partnerships must be disclosed. None may automatically improve a product score, ranking, recommendation, search prominence, or test result.

Commercial systems cannot modify factual conclusions produced by research or fact-checking. No affiliate, sponsor, or paid-placement relationship is currently authorized.

Long-term standard

Method over manufactured authority.

Inquory aims to earn trust through transparent methodology, primary evidence, original testing, structured datasets, useful tools, documented corrections, and longitudinal research - never fake credentials, reviewers, histories, or experience.
